To do so they must first obtain authorisation from the Minister of State.

Commercial agencies are recorded on the Trade and Industry Registry.

Obtaining and completing the forms

To get the forms you can either:

  • Or collect them from the Business Development Agency

Collating the documents

Documents to be provided:

  • Copy of the registration of the parent company on the Trade Register stating the objects of the company and a translation of this document into French if necessary
  • A document giving financial information about the parent company, showing the date of establishment, the main activities carried out, the country of location, the true beneficial owner and the personnel employed
  • A copy of the minutes of the board meeting or general assembly of the parent company where the decision to open the branch, administrative office or representative office was made. The minutes should also name the person who will act as the company’s representative
