Principle and conditions
In accordance with Act no. 928 of 08 December 1972 regarding private radio stations, the installation and use of a temporary radio communication network are subject to administrative authorisation. This does not however exempt the holder from obtaining other authorisations for the physical installation of the network.
Obtaining and completing the form
To get this form you can either:
- Download it here: DCE - temporary network application form (392-0008_01-2011)
- Or Collect it from the Department of Electronic Communications
Sending off or submitting the application
You must submit the form or sent it by email, post or fax to the Department of Electronic Communications, preferably one week prior to the installation of the network.
The Department will then contact you, if necessary, to change one or more requested frequencies which cannot be allocated. Following approval, you will be sent an authorisation and the related tax payable.
